Cornerstone Garage Services

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the services provided by Cornerstone Garage Services, a residential garage door service provider operating in the State of Kansas. By scheduling a service, submitting payment, or engaging with our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Section 1: Definitions
• “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us” refers to Cornerstone Garage Services.
• “Customer,” “you,” or “your” refers to any individual or entity who engages with our services or website.
• “Services” include garage door installation, repair, parts sales, maintenance, inspections, emergency services, and related offerings.
Section 2: Scope of Services
We offer residential garage door services, including:
• New installations and replacements
• Repairs and adjustments
• Maintenance and safety checks
• Emergency and after-hours support (additional fees apply)
• Sales of parts and accessories
All services are provided within the State of Kansas.
Section 3: Scheduling & Availability
Service appointments may be scheduled through our website, by email, or by phone. Availability is not guaranteed and is subject to technician scheduling. We reserve the right to reschedule or decline any appointment due to capacity, safety, or environmental concerns.
Section 4: Estimates & Pricing
We do not offer free estimates. Pricing is determined upon assessment of the required work and may be adjusted if unforeseen issues arise during service. Customers will be notified of changes before work continues.
Section 5: Payment Terms
• Payment is due immediately upon completion of service.
• If not paid at time of service, payment must be received within five (5) business days of invoice delivery.
• Invoices are sent by email.
• Accepted payment methods: credit/debit cards and checks.
• Late payments may incur interest or collection action.
Section 6: Cancellations & Rescheduling
Customers may cancel or reschedule appointments at no charge. We ask that notice be provided as early as possible to prevent scheduling conflicts.
Section 7: Emergency Services
Emergency and after-hours services are available for an additional fee, disclosed prior to service confirmation. Availability is not guaranteed and will depend on technician availability.
Section 8: Warranty Coverage
We provide a 1-Year Limited Warranty on:
• Our workmanship
• Parts installed by us during service
This warranty excludes damage from weather, misuse, accidents, tampering, or parts not installed by our technicians. Warranty claims must be submitted via email within one year of service.
Section 9: Returns & Refunds
• Unused and uninstalled physical products may be returned within 14 days of purchase with original packaging and proof of purchase.
• Refunds are not available for completed labor.
• Refunds will be issued to the original payment method upon approval.
Section 10: Exchanges
Defective or incorrect items may be exchanged within 7 days of receipt. Exchanges are processed after the returned item has been inspected. We cover shipping for defective or incorrect products only.
Section 11: Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for:
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Losses resulting from mechanical failure, access issues, or delayed service
• Damages caused by structural deficiencies, external factors (e.g., weather), or pre-existing conditions
Total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific service or product involved.
Section 12: Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
• Provide accurate information and clear access to the service site
• Ensure safe and lawful working conditions
• Remove any obstructions or hazards prior to technician arrival
Failure to comply may result in service delays or refusal.
Pet Safety and Customer Responsibilities
For the safety of our technicians and your pets, we require that all dogs and other animals be securely contained or restrained during the service appointment. Cornerstone Garage Services is not responsible for any injuries or accidents caused by pets during the service visit.
• It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that pets are under control and kept at a safe distance from our technicians while work is being performed.
• We reserve the right to refuse service if pets are not properly secured or if the safety of our technicians is compromised.
By scheduling a service, you acknowledge and agree to take responsibility for ensuring the safety of all parties involved, including pets.
Section 13: Use of Website
By accessing our website, you agree not to:
• Interfere with its functionality
• Misuse any forms, tools, or contact portals
• Use it for unlawful purposes

We collect limited personal information for scheduling, billing, analytics, and marketing. This includes:

• Payment information (processed securely)

Section 16: Marketing Communications
Customers may receive marketing emails or texts from time to time. All emails will include an unsubscribe link. You may also request removal by contacting us directly.

We may use third-party providers (e.g., Shopify, Google Ads) for website hosting, analytics, and payment processing. We do not sell or share customer data with outside parties unless necessary to complete your transaction.
Section 18: Minors
